Joakim Karlsen has been a professional coach since 2007, serving youth sailors across the United States and abroad. He has coached a wide variety of classes with his primary focus on Opti racing and High School Sailing. He moved to the United States in 2010 from Norway. He is a US level 3 certified coach and is currently a member of the US sailing Coach and Instructor committee as well as the USODA Coaches Council.

Private Opti Coaching
JK Sailing will facilitate any private coaching you may need. We are able to work with individuals as well as groups up to 6.
Private Clinic
We provide you and your team with a full, high- end racing clinic including Sailing Coach, professional Fitness Coach, and professional photography. Minimum for a clinic is 3 days.
